Riva Leone Barolo 2018 is a refined and expressive Barolo crafted from 100% Nebbiolo grown in the rolling hills of Piedmont. Often described as the “King of Wines”, Barolo is known for its aromatic intensity, firm structure and long ageing potential — and the 2018 vintage from Riva Leone captures all these qualities with elegance and charm.

Aroma

Highly aromatic, with layers of rose petals, red cherry, dried raspberry and plum, supported by hints of liquorice, leather, spice and earthy undertones.

Palate

Full-bodied, structured and gracefully matured. Flavours of red cherry, dried strawberry and cranberry merge with deeper notes of tobacco, truffle, warm spice and cedar.
The tannins are firm yet polished, giving the wine its classic Barolo grip, while fresh acidity brings lift and elegance.
The finish is long, savoury and beautifully complex.
