Product description

Producteurs de Plaimont ‘Le Manseng Noir’ 2023 is a captivating and rare red wine from Côtes de Gascogne, crafted by the forward-thinking cooperative Plaimont, famous for reviving ancient local grape varieties.

Manseng Noir is one of the region’s most exciting rediscoveries — naturally fresh, perfumed and silky, producing wines with beautiful balance and vibrant fruit. This 2023 release showcases the grape at its best: expressive, elegant and wonderfully easy to enjoy.

Aroma

Bright and perfumed, with aromas of red cherry, black plum and wild raspberry, lifted by notes of violet, pepper and soft herbal spice.

Palate

Medium-bodied, smooth and delicately structured. Flavours of juicy red berries, dark cherry and subtle blueberry glide across the palate, supported by gentle tannins and refreshing acidity. Hints of spice, liquorice and soft earthiness add depth, leading to a clean, aromatic finish.

A graceful and modern Gascogne red — lively, refined and full of charm.
