Product description
Massimo Lentsch Etna Rosso 2021 is a refined and expressive red wine grown on the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily. Made from 100% Nerello Mascalese, it captures the purity of this unique terroir, where altitude, volcanic soils and cooling winds create wines of freshness and precision.
Crafted using organic and low-intervention methods, with native yeasts and minimal cellar manipulation, this wine reflects a natural and authentic style. The 2021 vintage offers both structure and finesse, combining vibrant fruit with mineral complexity.
Aroma
Delicate and lifted aromas of red cherry, redcurrant and wild berries, with notes of volcanic minerality, dried herbs and subtle spice.
Palate
Medium-bodied, elegant and finely structured. Flavours of fresh red fruits, cranberry and cherry are supported by bright acidity and fine, grippy tannins.
A distinct mineral edge adds tension and precision, leading to a long, savoury and beautifully balanced finish.
A wine of finesse and purity, often compared to a lighter, more mineral style of Pinot Noir.
