When you taste it, the wine is silky and fresh, with a soft fruity core and a touch of spice that comes through with time. It’s gentle but has structure, thanks to the age of the vines.

 How to Serve

• Serve slightly cool, around 14–16°C

• No ice – it’s too refined for that

• Open the bottle 15–30 minutes before drinking to let the wine breathe and bring out its lovely perfume

• Grilled pork or herby sausages

• Mushroom pasta or vegetarian dishes

• And soft cheeses like brie or camembert
