Appellation La Consulta Malbec Catena 2019 is a refined, high-altitude Malbec from one of Argentina’s most respected producers. Grown in the premium sub-region of La Consulta in the Uco Valley, the grapes benefit from cool mountain nights, bright Andean sunlight and mineral-rich soils — conditions that create Malbecs with purity, depth and a striking sense of place.

The 2019 vintage is beautifully expressive: rich dark fruit, delicate floral notes and fine tannins wrapped in Catena’s signature elegance. This is a sophisticated Malbec that balances concentration with freshness, offering both immediate pleasure and ageing potential.

Aroma

Lifted aromas of blackberry, plum and blueberry, joined by hints of violet, mocha, spice and a touch of graphite minerality.

Palate

Full-bodied, smooth and layered. Flavours of ripe black fruit, cassis and dark cherry unfold alongside notes of cocoa, cedar, warm spice and subtle floral tones.
