Elettra Primitivo Negroamaro 2023 is a bold and smooth red wine from Puglia, a warm and sunny region in southern Italy. It’s made from two popular local grapes – Primitivo and Negroamaro – known for producing rich, powerful wines full of dark fruit and character.

 Alcohol & Style

  • Alcohol: 14.5%

  • Style: Dry, full-bodied, soft and velvety

This wine has a strong, warming feel and a smooth texture. It’s great for people who enjoy reds that are rich and satisfying without being too heavy.

Aroma &  Taste

It smells of blackberries, cherries, and almonds, with a hint of mint and spice.
When you taste it, you’ll find lots of ripe dark fruit, a touch of chocolate, and soft, round tannins. There’s also a small note of sweetness, and it finishes long and silky.

 How to Serve

  • Serve slightly warm, around 16–18°C

  • No ice – this would spoil its smooth, rich character

  • Tip: Open the bottle 30 minutes before drinking to let the flavours open up

 Food Pairing

This wine is great with:

  • Grilled meats, roast beef or lamb

  • Pasta with rich sauces, like lasagne or ragu

  • Hard cheeses, like parmesan or aged cheddar

It’s also a lovely wine to enjoy slowly on its own during a quiet evening.

 Extra Info

Elettra is carefully made using ripe, hand-selected grapes, and aged in oak barrels to give it extra smoothness and depth.
This vintage has won awards too – 99 points from Luca Maroni and 90 from Falstaff, so it’s recognised for its quality.

Elettra Primitivo Negroamaro 2023 is a rich, full-flavoured Italian red, perfect for cosy dinners, Sunday roasts, or sharing with friends over a good meal.
